one of a kind historical drag racing icon is on the auction block on Ebay, the Hurst Parade 300, and it's not getting any bids, they're asking $150,000. That's ridiculous

what was the real deal on Smokey’s Chevelle? Macsmotorcitygarage.com did a side by side comparison

this graph overlay is perfect for analyzing the dimensional differences

the things that are immediately noticeable are the front bumper sucked back into the front, the roofline is froward a couple inches, the wing windows are forward a couple inches, but even more pronounced are the rear tires, forward about 6 inches maybe.

the old rumor about it being 7/8ths size is easily proven nonsense, just simple math. A 7/8ths size Chevelle would be almost 10 inches narrower and more than two feet shorter (length not height) than a full-scale version.

Virginia Beach embraces the relatively new gourmet food truck phenomenon, and creates a food truck park for them to get together: The Hub

At 712 Atlantic Ave, a block from the beach,
The Hub is the brainchild of Cassandra Ayala and Nichole and John Malbon, who run Eat the Streets 757, a network of nearly 20 local food trucks for corporate events and parties. This weekend is a soft opening, Malbon said. The grand opening will be June 20.

The Hub is modeled after a food truck park in a San Francisco neighborhood, Malbon said. Each day of the week will feature an assortment of choices from trucks parked along the north edge of the park, except on Mondays, when the park's closed.

Themed nights are planned: Tuesday is "Barefoot Market," a farm-to-truck event. Hashi, Wrap-N-Roll and Bodacious Pizza will serve locally sourced food, and children will eat free. Wednesday is "Local Night," and Thursday is "Mother Trucker Night," with all female vendors.

"TGIF" Fridays will expand to a twice-monthly "Tap Takeover" featuring Virginia brews. Weekends will continue with Foodie Festival Saturdays and all-day brunch on Sundays.

Bay King Chrysler in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, completed its new showroom, and the franchise really wanted to show its dedication to the Jeep brand.

As you can imagine, getting the Jeep safely down there was no easy feat. First, we had to drain all of the vehicles fluids- this vehicle could not be emptier if we tipped it upside down. We then used a local towing company to bring the vehicle into the dealership, and slowly….very slowly, lower it onto a bed of rocks and rubble within our foundation. We then placed triple-paned glass over top (similar to that used for the glass floor in the CN tower), so that this beautiful piece of machinery can be admired from directly above.

the inspiration for the Jeep installation came from a home that had a glass floor looking down into its wine cellar.

The company already had the 1943 Willys MB to display, but it had originally planned to build a jungle gym around it for customers' kids.

Now, the classic is literally in the floor as customers enter.

Challenger T/A trivia

three T/A's have painted (in place of vinyl) roofs.

One's green, has the vinyl top molding, and a black painted roof.
The other two consists of another black top and a super rare white top on a plum crazy car.

The fender trim code was V08, Paint, Trim and Vinyl Roof Edit Waiver

tell me... what's the first thing that would clue you in, that you've chosen poorly of the two options? Seriously, the really old guy driving did this with nothing to force him into a quick decision

A shovel handle on the shifter... I've never seen that before
